You’ll have heard before that many people would rather die than have to give a presentation in front of a group!
Just the mere thought of having to speak out will send many of us into a panic.
Yet having the confidence to stand up and speak out in front of a group of people is a very important and useful business skill. Being able to capture the audience’s attention, keep them interested and keep them on side is easier than you think when you use the presenters’ tricks of the trade!
Even if you don’t have to give formal presentations, you may need to introduce yourself at a business networking meeting, or give a short informal talk about your business.
This half day workshop on Presenting with Impact teaches you how to plan to present, how to handle pre-‐speaking nerves and how to speak with confidence and clarity so that you create great impact and deliver a meaningful and memorable message! It will show you how to get your message across with clarity and control
Learners must be aged 19 at the start of the course. You need to be planning to run, or currently running your own small business.
The half day workshop will be designed to be highly interactive and to equip you with the skills to implement your learning in your business straightaway. The course will be tutored by an experienced business specialist.
You will receive feedback throughout the workshop from your tutor who will help you identify how to apply the new skills and knowledge in your business.
A pen and notebook would be useful. Course handouts will be provided.
Your tutor will be able to advise you of any follow on or suitable courses. Your tutor will be able to suggest other training available locally that could help you progress your skills as a business owner.
