The 4th Forest Enterprise Fair was held on the 16th November at Lydney Town Hall. The event was very well attended and gave local entrepreneurs the chance to showcase their products and services.
24 local businesses took part in the exhibition with a diverse range of the businesses being represented including Forest Traders, TWOGs, Borderlands Outdoors and Lydney Osteopaths.
Throughout the day the Enterprise Fair gave local businesses an opportunity to boost their profile throughout the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.
One visitor to the event was Todd Harrison who commented “We had an absolutely fantastic day at the recent Enterprise Fair and found the entire event well organised and well promoted in the local area.
Forest of Dean Entrepreneurs has exhibited a real commitment to supporting local business and are doing so in a way that from what we can see is both socially and environmentally conscious.”
Alongside the local business exhibition there were seminars throughout the day on Social Media and Marketing. We would like to thank the seminar hosts Skylight9, Fresh Management Solutions and Merrie Marketing for providing their time and energy to help local businesses.
David Jordan of Skylight9 told us “Thank you all for having us today. The venue was great and the event was very well organised. Anyone interested in doing business around the Forest of Dean should definitely get involved! “.
Catering for the event was provided by the local Sixteen Community Cafe from Coleford who provided an excellent selection of their products include soup, quiche and cake.
We have been fortunate to have the support of our sponsors in helping to make this event possible and would also like to thank Lydney Town Hall for providing the location of this year Enterprise Fair.
Following on the from the success of this year’s Enterprise Fair we have already started to plan the 5th Forest Enterprise Fair which will be held in late 2017.
