1. What did you do before your current business?
I have had two careers the first one being a photographer in the Royal Air Force, where I learned my trade as a technical photographer. I have always owned a camera and have been taken pictures since I was 7. When I left the RAF I went to university and studied Zoology, I then worked at Hartpury College as the Academic Manager for Animal Science and Veterinary Nursing Science and lectured in various Animal Science subjects.
2. What made you start your current business?
I started my business, as I wanted to get back to my creative side and missed being out there taking photographs and creating images and I wanted to utilise the technical skills that I had gained in the RAF.
3. What do you most enjoy about your business?
I enjoy being in business but the thing that stands out for me is the opportunity to meet people and help them in their business to get the best images of the product/service that they have worked so hard to create and seeing their business grow.
4. If you had a magic wand what would you change about your business?
With my magic wand I would like to expand my business so that I could offer future photographers an apprenticeship or training in what I do.
5. Do you have any useful tips or ideas that you could share?
Useful tips for the start-up business is don’t give up, it takes time but you will get to where you want to be. To prospective photographers create your own style that is what defines you as a creative.
