The venue was the recently opened University of Gloucestershire’s new Enterprise Hub in the Vantage Point Business Village.
Basil Omar from the University was on hand to explain what the Enterprise Hub was trying to achieve to support new businesses and start-ups with a physical location plus mentoring opportunities and other support including wider networking.
For £25 per week, new businesses can rent a desk to launch their business in a friendly and supportive environment. Or for £100 a year businesses can become associate members with no physical space, but able to access the range of services through the university. As a result of Basil’s talk a couple of the Forest of Dean entrepreneurs are considering sharing a desk.
