Increasingly, the Internet is the first port of call for anyone searching for goods and services. The cornerstone of any effective web strategy is an effective website that works for you. Planning your first website is a straightforward process.
At this half day workshop you will learn the options available to you when launching and planning your first website, the steps involved in ‘going live’, rough costs and essential things to consider.
Learners must be aged 19 at the start of the course.
The half day workshop will be designed to be highly interactive and to equip you with the skills to implement your learning in your business straightaway. The course will be tutored by an experienced business specialist. You will receive feedback throughout the workshop from your tutor who will help you identify how to apply the new skills and knowledge in your business.
You need to be planning to run, or currently running your own small business as the focus is upon business websites.
A pen and notebook would be useful. Some course handouts will be provided.
This workshop aims to enable most new business to either build their own website or have confidence to use a website builder cost effectively. Your tutor will be able to advise you of any follow on or suitable courses. Your tutor will be able to suggest other training available locally that could help you progress your skills as a business owner.
