While on 2nd June there is free customer service training through Adult Education for Gloucestershire small businesses.
For other events and workshops in the coming month check out or training and events page
Have you been to one of the Forest of Dean Entrepreneurs evening informal business get-togethers yet?
These networking events take place every other month and are a great way to meet other local business owners, to learn new skills & pick up tips and techniques for running a successful business. It doesn’t matter whether you are a start-up business, one of our Alumni or an established business in the Forest, all can benefit.
Our next evening business event is on Tuesday 26th May 6.00 – 8.30pm at The Belfry Hotel in Littledean. We have a great session lined up for you this month on something which is surprisingly fundamental to businesses of all sizes:
‘How to protect your intellectual property, design & copyright’.
Our speaker is a specialist in this area from Okells Francis Law solicitors. Come along to find out how to protect your work from being copied or ‘passed off’. You will also have a chance to network with the other business owners and to find out how the Forest of Dean Entrepreneurs project could help you.
The £5 charge covers the cost of a light buffet. Please let us know if you are coming along – everyone is welcome. Email Andrew on firstname.lastname@example.org.
The second business event where Forest businesses can benefit is a fully funded one day Customer Service Workshops for Small Medium Enterprises in Gloucestershire.
The free training is for those working in customer service environments. Adult Education is giving away fully funded workshop places to qualifying Small, Medium Enterprises in Gloucestershire.
Ideally suited to small traders and businesses in the catering, retail, leisure & tourism, hospitality, engineering & manufacturing sectors, these workshops will give your staff the skills they need to deliver first class customer service.
The workshop taking place in Gloucester on June 2nd 2015, from 9.15am to 4.30pm. Please contact Ismail Ginwalla at Ismail.GINWALLA@gloucestershire.gov.uk as places are limited.
